Advice for Freshman
I would advise all freshmen to study hard your first year and not slack off. Though there's always fun things going on on campus, you can't forget you're here for school!
About Dayna J
Hey everyone, my name is Dayna and I'm a junior here at Western. I'm from Bloomfield Hills, MI which is the metro Detroit area.I graduated from Lahser High School in 2008.
I really didn't have much of an opinion when deciding where I wanted to go to college. I applied to about 6 universities hoping that it would narrow down my decision to just the colleges that accepted. Lo and behold, I got accepted to all of them. I than began taking some campus tours to help with my decision. Western was one of the most friendly campuses when I visited. Western seemed to be the perfect size- not too big, not too small. I also heard that WMU had a great nursing program which made the university stand out above all others.
I lived in Ackley in Valley 1 my freshman year. It was awesome, because I made all new friends who lived there as well. I like going to Miller Movies on campus and love attending the MODA fashion shows. In my free time I like going to the Student Recreation center since it is free for students to use with your ID!
