My two biggest pieces of advice would be to join organizations and go to sporting events both great ways to meet new people!
About Chuck B
Hello my name is Charles Blades this is my first year at Western. I am from a small high school in Plainwell, Michigan. I graduated in May of 2012.
The way I decided to come to was because of the tours and websites. I researched schools all across the country, and decided on Western Michigan University because it just was the right fit for me. I really liked the size and the feel of the University. Every time I came to Western to tour or for an open house, I always felt welcome. They had the major I was looking for too, which helped really made WMU an easy choice.
During my first few weeks here, I had had a lot of really awesome experiences! In my free time I have been able to go to theater shows that the School of Fine Arts presents, watch great sports and meet lots of new people. Western provides a lot of really awesome things that make campus great.
