Talk to your professors in class, go to their office hours and try to sit in the front of the class. The best way for you to build relationships and have different opportunities within your major is to do these things and you will thrive in each of your classes.
My name is Andrea, and I am from the West Bloomfield Township, MI. I graduated in 2010 from West Bloomfield High School. I am now a junior at Western Michigan University double majoring in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate & Investments and Public Relations.
I choose Western Michigan University because when I came to visit this campus I felt like much more than a number in the enrollment. I am so happy I chose this university because it literally has been amazing and each time I visit another college or university on the weekends to hang out with friends I am reassured the following Monday that I made the BEST decision by choosing to attend Western Michigan University.
I am involved in a few different registered student organizations (RSO's) on Campus, my Business Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Merchandising Opportunities & Design Association, Public Relations Organization, & Finance Club. In my free time away from school, work, and my numerous registered student organizations (RSO's) I enjoy shopping and photography. You can almost always catch me doing either one of these things.
