BackgroundFor prospective students, I would say that getting a feel for a campus is a really good sign of the life you will have while there. Even though my house is really far away, I have really found a second home here at Western.
When I was making the decision of which college I should attend, I went through a very meticulous process. I went on a couple of tours of the campuses that really interested me, and I also visited their websites to get more information. I decided that Western Michigan University would be the best choice for me, because of the home away from home feeling I felt when touring the campus. I chose to be a psychology major while I was in high school, because my mom, the psychologist, first sparked my interest.
On campus, I am currently involved in Phi Sigma Pi, which is a Greek academic honors society. I also am a member of Psi Chi, which is a Greek psychology fraternity. I currently live off campus, but like to be involved with a lot of on campus activities such as sporting events, Miller movies, and attending social events offered by different organizations.
