Facility use is subject to University and Bernhard Center policies. The Bernhard Center is a smoke-free and barrier-free facility.
There are 22 meeting rooms available for RSO sponsored events: meetings, conferences, banquets, dances, festivals, etc. You can view Bernhard Center floor plans for locations. The West Suite (208, 209, 210) can be divided into three individual rooms. The East Ballroom can be divided into two large rooms. RSOs must adhere to the RSO Food/Catering Policies.
The Bernhard Center meeting and conference rooms may be reserved by University departments, Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), and community members. Twenty-three flexible meeting rooms can be set up in a variety of ways to accommodate customer needs including meetings, lectures, exhibits, banquets, and conferences. Dining and catering arrangements can be easily coordinated through the WMU Catering office, which is located at the Bernhard Center.
The Bernhard Center is an ideal location for personal, community and regional organizations to gather for weddings, special occasions, meetings, conferences, seminars, festivals, and banquets. With small, medium and large meeting facilities, including Kalamazoo County’s largest ballroom, there isn’t an event too small or too large for the Bernhard Center.
