STEP Summer Math Program
"Bridges to Success in CEAS"
First-Year Students Enrolling in the
College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS)
STEP Bridges Program will work with motivated students enrolling in WMU CEAS for the Fall 2013 semester who want to improve their mathematics skills and readiness for success in college. Program dates are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, during the weeks of July 8, July 15, and July 23, 2013.
“Mathematics is the language of engineering and applied sciences. This is the reason why having a strong foundation in math is important to success as a first-year student enrolling in a major in WMU CEAS. High-school algebra prepares students to take college algebra, not college pre-calculus.”
◊ Dr. Edmund Tsang, Associate Dean, WMU CEAS ◊
