Engineering House

Students have the option of living in the Engineering House, located in Bigelow Hall. Bigelow Hall is a co-ed facility with separate male and female floors. Students share large community bathrooms that are cleaned daily by professional custodial staff. The Engineering House living community features:

  • On-site tutoring
  • Computer lab loaded with engineering software open 24/7
  • Specialized activities tailored toward engineering students needs
  • Floor and hall-wide programs aimed at student engagement

Bigelow Hall is centrally located next to the Bernhard Center which is the student union at WMU. The Bernhard Center offers services such as:

  • Twenty-four hour computer lab
  • Banking
  • WMU Bookstore
  • U.S. Post Office
  • Bernhard Cafe and Market
  • BiggBy Coffee
  • Pizza Hut
  • Subway
  • Taco Bell

Bigelow Hall is conveniently connected to Bigelow Cafe through an enclosed walk-way. In addition to the regular dining menu Bigelow Cafe also offers The Marketplace Grill's specialty menu as well as late-night carryout.
