
The Department of Special Education and Literacy Studies offers undergraduate and graduate programs focused on preparation of educational professionals with expertise in meeting the needs of K-12 students with diverse abilities.
Reading Horizons seeks to bring together school professionals, literacy researchers, teacher educators, parents and community leaders as they work collaboratively to widen the horizons of literacy and the language arts.

Deadline Extended for Undergraduate Special Education Program
The Special Education Program has extended its application deadline for the fall, 2013 undergraduate cohort. If you are interested in applying please submit all application materials directly to the Department of Special Education and Literacy Studies, 4571 Sangren Hall. Applications will be accepted until the cohort fills. If any further information is needed, please contact the Department Chair, Dr. Daniel Morgan
or the SPED Program Coordinator, Dr. Sarah Summy
