The Family and Consumer Science, family life and education program has partnered with us to provide parents and families with information and strategies that could help them to learn and develop more strategies to support literacy development in their children. As the research indicates, there is a close connection between parental/family involvement and achievement. Additionally, sessions will include presentations on family-based practices that support children's learning based on the needs and/interests of participants.
