Undergraduate Minors in Nonprofit Leadership Requirements

The undergraduate minor in Nonprofit Leadership offers two tracks: with certification and without certification. The requirements for completion of the undergraduate minors can be found below.

With certificate

The minor including the certification requires the 17 credit hours and service from the following:

  • PADM 2000–Introduction to Nonprofit Leadership (three credits)

  • PADM 3000–Nonprofit Advancement (three credits)
  • PADM 3210–Nonprofit Leadership Student Association (I) (one credit)
  • PADM 3220–Nonprofit Leadership Student Association (II) (one credit)
  • PADM 4000–Seminar in Nonprofit Leadership (three credits)
  • PADM 4100–Internship in Nonprofit Leadership (300 hours for three credits)
  • Electives (three credits)
  • Extra-curricular requirements prescribed by the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance, Inc. These requirements include participation in a Nonprofit Leadership Student Association, attendance at the National Alliance Management/Leadership Institute, and participation in other activities that fulfill the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance competencies.

Without certificate

The minor without the certification requires 18 credit hours from the following:

  • PADM 2000–Introduction to Nonprofit Leadership (three credits)
  • PADM 3000–Nonprofit Advancement (three credits)
  • PADM 4000–Seminar in Nonprofit Leadership (three credits)
  • PADM 4100–Internship in Nonprofit Leadership (300 hours for three credits)
  • Electives (six to nine credits)
