MPA: How to Apply

Materials to be submitted to the Office of Admissions

  1. The Application for Graduate Admission or Submit Online
  2. A $50 non-refundable application fee payable to Western Michigan University
  3. An official transcript from each undergraduate and graduate institution you have attended except for WMU

Materials are to be addressed to:

Materials to be submitted to the School of Public Affairs and Administration office

  1. The Departmental Information Form
  2. Your responses to both departmental essay questions
  3. A comprehensive resume
  4. Two letters of recommendation to be submitted to the admissions committee separately from the student's application by the author of the letter (to the address below)
