Nonprofit Leadership Certification

Graduate Certificate | American Humanics Certification | Minor in Nonprofit Leadership (UG)

Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Administration (NLA)

The Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Administration is intended for nonprofit employees and volunteers who desire to enhance their managerial skills, but do not want to complete a 39 credit hour Master's degree program, or who want to 'test the water' before deciding whether to pursue a Master's degree.

Graduate Certificate students who want to preserve the option of eventually earning an MPA degree should consult with their advisor to help ensure that all or most of the graduate certificate credits will transfer to the MPA program. Under these conditions, an MPA program can be obtained by successfully completing an additional 18 credits of MPA core courses and the Project Paper Seminar.

Please note: the Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Administration is a non-degree seeking program which may not qualify for certain financial aid or scholarships.  If you have questions, please contact our office.
