WMU's newest regional site--the world

Every student enrolled in courses online or through the University's network of regional sites is considered a resident when it comes to paying tuition. Out-of-state students, including international students, can take advantage of the same EUP tuition rates as in-state students. No more wondering about your status. If you take courses through WMU's Extended University Programs (EUP), you pay the same rate as if you've lived in Michigan all your life. We're not thinking outside the box--we've just removed the box. We're a global research university that's ready to prepare you for the global economy.

Special Note: EUP Tuition and WMU Flat Rate Structure

Please note that EUP Tuition does not apply to the WMU Flat Rate Fee Structure.  Therefore, undergraduate online courses, as well as courses offered through EUP on the main campus or at regional sites, will not count towards the Flat Rate Fee.

WMU EUP tuition rates and fees are effective fall 2009.
The following rates are for students enrolled in courses and/or programs at a WMU regional site or through Online Education.  Tuition and fees for the main campus (Kalamazoo) are available at the Registrar's website.

Undergraduate Tuition

Undergraduate tuition is $318.28 per credit hour, regardless of state of residency or student classification.

Graduate Tuition

Graduate tuition is $449.94 per credit hour, regardless of state of residency or student classification.

EUP Fees

Students taking courses through Extended University Programs, whether at a WMU regional site or online, will be assessed a $20 technology fee per course.

Traverse City students
Students enrolled at WMU-Traverse City have an additional $10 per credit hour fee.
