Dr. Victoria Ross
Victoria Ross
has a BA in Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts, a M.Ed.
In Counseling from Cambridge College, and a PhD in Social Policy from
Brandeis University. Her areas of substantive expertise include
medical sociology, social problems, and health care policy/ administration,
and she has extensive experience with qualitative and evaluation research
techniques. Prior to coming to WMU, she was the Chief Operating
Officer and Director of Clinical Services for a human services agency
in Massachusetts and consultant. Among other activities, Dr. Ross
continues to serve as a national instructor and field coordinator in
disaster mental health for The American Red Cross. She will be
appointed jointly to the Department of Sociology and the School of Public
Affairs and Administration.
