Dr. Georgios Loizides
Professor
Loizides received his Ph.D. from Western Michigan University. His areas
of specialization include comparative/historical sociology, and social
inequality (race, class, gender). Other interests include collective and
social identity construction, social movements, social change and
development, sociology of work, and organizational sociology. He is
currently researching early twentieth century labor policies of the Ford
Motor Company, particularly relating to Americanization, race, and
ethnicity.
