How does one choose a college? Kyle has a very simple way of explaining his decision: “Western was a smart choice for me because it has the right programs I’m looking for, the right student-to-teacher ratio and really just the right overall experience.”
Kyle highly recommends prospective students take program offerings, campus size and student/teacher ratios into account. Thinking of these things first will almost immediately create a short list of potential schools. Then, visit the campuses.
The WMU arts programs are what sold him. He plans to major in art with a specialty in drawing and painting, and is considering adding a minor in theatre. He left positive impressions on his high-school teachers and peers in his arts classes, and looks forward to challenging himself further among the other Western students.
In addition to his studies, Kyle plans to join one of the choirs and audition for some of the upcoming shows. It’s quite evident Kyle will be seen and heard around campus.
