Smart Ride | Christopher

Christopher has been building things since he first discovered his motor skills. Like most kids, he dabbled with Lego® bricks, and from there moved on to building things with wood, introducing himself to power tools.

The next step: design and build steel buildings. Christopher is attending WMU to become a civil engineer, despite his assertion civil and all engineers are undervalued. There's a lot more that goes into being an engineer than people realize, and Christopher is looking forward to the challenge and helping to change that perception.

In his spare time, Christopher can't get away from building. Among other things, he participates in the concrete canoe and with the steel bridge design team. He is also a member of the Gamers Guild, helping keep his mind fresh during a few moments of leisure.
