This workshop is an interactive experience in learning more about mindful eating. Participants will learn how to approach eating intentionally and purposefully, rather than rushing through a meal while multi-tasking their lives. They will also learn how to pay attention to physiological cues that will help them slow down and enjoy the foods they eat.

Sex and Relationships
Learn about sexual negotiation- how to make sure you and a partner get what you want and respect each other. Nationally-certified peer educators discuss how to talk with a partner about hot topics like sexual history, STI and pregnancy prevention, and relationship expectations.

This workshop is best suited for those who are thinking about beginning a long distance relationship, are currently in one, or recently ended one. We will discuss facts about LDR’s, the rewards and challenges of LDR’s, tips on how to strengthen your LDR, and knowing how and when to end the relationship.

Managing Relationships: Getting along with family and friends
Find ways to understand the personalities and motivations of others and why they sometimes conflict with your own. Participants will learn how to communicate more effectively with those around them and how to help others understand them more completely.

Sexual Assault: Resources and Eradication
F.I.R.E. Sexual Assault Peer Educators, a group of men and women committed to ending sexual assault, will educate their peers’ on strategies they can employ to end sexual assault at Western and within their communities. Students will also learn how to support a survivor of sexual assault, and the area resources which can help facilitate a person’s recovery from an assault.
