Standing Together on F.I.R.E
Fighting Ignorance and Rape through Education)
F.I.R.E. Sexual Assault Peer Educators, a group of men and women committed to ending sexual assault, will educate their peers on strategies they can employ to end sexual assault at Western and within their communities. Students will also learn how to support a survivor of sexual assault, and the area resources which can help facilitate a person’s recovery from an assault. |

HIV Education and Risk Assessment
This workshop is designed to provide education regarding HIV, discuss your personal risk factors and review your risk reduction behaviors. A self-assessment will provide knowledge to participants on their need for testing. Each individual will receive a HIV/STI Education and Risk Assessment Test Kit that includes additional information regarding HIV and STI education. |

The Sun Will Come Up Tomorrow
This workshop is conducted by experienced peer educators who will provide information about Sexually Transmitted Illnesses (STIs). The training will include information regarding how STIs are contracted, how to live with an STI if you are infected, and reassurance that life with an STI is not the end of the world. |
