The Office of Health Promotion and Education offers Massage Therapy to all WMU Students Faculty, Staff and eligible dependents at least 12 years of age.

Massage Services offered @ Sindecuse:


Chair Massage: 15 and 30 min.
Table Massage: 30, 60 and 90 min.

Massages are available by appointment only, Monday through Friday 9-5 p.m.

Massage Modalities

Choose from the following modalities: Swedish, pre-natal, acupressure, cranio-sacral, medical massage, reflexology, hot stones and energy work. To find out more information about massage benefits visit: Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals .

Charges:

Chair massages: $1 per min. for up to 30 min.
Table massages: $35 for 30 min., $70 for 60 min., and $105 for 90 min.

Aetna Student Health Comprehensive plan covers 12 massages per policy year up to $70 per visit. Aetna Student Health Basic plan covers up to $1000 for physical therapy and massage therapy per policy year with a maximum benefit of 12 massages up to $70 per visit. The WMU Blue Cross Blue Shield Community Blue plan covers 12 massages per year up to $70 per visit after deductible (with a prescription from an MD, DO, PA or Chiropractor only). All WMU employees should check their benefit guidelines to find out what type of coverage they can receive.
