Hand Washing 101

"Hand washing is the single most important procedure for preventing the spread of infection." - CDC

  1. Initial Rinse—Wet your hands with warm running water.
  2. Apply soap and lather well.
  3. Scrub your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds.
  4. Rinse well.
  5. Dry your hands with a clean or disposable paper towel.
  6. Turn water off using the towel.
