Diagnostic Services

The Health Center's Laboratory and Radiology Department performs most standard diagnostic lab and radiology procedures as well as electrocardiograms (EKG's). Our laboratory is accredited by the Commission of Office Laboratory Accreditation in accordance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988. Quality control is mandated by these qualifying groups and is met through proficiency testing provided by the College of American Pathologists. Our Radiology Department follows Federal Regulations and is registered with and inspected by the State of Michigan.

A written clinician request is required for all procedures. Tests may be ordered by appropriate Health Center medical staff or by a patient's referring physician. If you would like to have a laboratory or standard diagnostic radiology procedure performed here for your convenience, you can bring the order with you to your appointment or your physician may fax the order to us. Test results (reports) are forwarded to the clinician/physician who ordered the test. Results may be faxed to your physician upon request.
