H1N1 Vaccination Update
|
We are out of seasonal flu vaccine and do not expect to receive more. However, if another supply becomes available, we will notify the campus and an update will be posted here. |
WMU Students, Employees and Retirees may now register online to receive an H1N1 vaccination through Sindecuse Health Center. WMU has received a very limited initial supply of both injectable and flu-mist vaccine (although routine shipments are expected to continue). Vaccinations will be prioritized based on high-risk and priority groups as established by the Centers for Disease Control.
The survey results identify priority groups utilizing the Center for Disease Control and Prevention categories. From these priority groups, a list of respondents will be established for those eligible to receive the available doses of vaccine.
Those eligible to receive the vaccine will then be sent an e-mail delineating dates and time intervals during which they can come to Sindecuse for their vaccination.
Each time new shipments of vaccine arrive, the data obtained from this ongoing survey process will be utilized to establish the next listing of those to receive the newly available doses of vaccine.
Your university e-mail account will continue to be the primary source of information for the dates and time intervals you will actually receive the vaccine.
