To accomplish this formative goal, we work collaboratively with clients to determine their needs and interests and to select appropriate support activities. We may provide technical assistance, materials development, or research in addition to more traditional program evaluation activities.
We offer feedback on project implementation and early outcomes in order to indicate whether adjustments in project activities might be necessary to better meet program goals. In order to support clients in the continuous improvement of their work, SAMPI emphasizes making information gathering and analysis, as well as subsequent use of information, integral to program delivery.
SAMPI staff include principal evaluators/investigators, research associate professionals, graduate research assistants, and experienced support staff. We are further supported by technological, information, and human resources at Western Michigan University. We draw on colleagues from within and outside the University to meet client needs.
