Selection Criteria

Green to Gold Scholarships

The two, three and four year Green to Gold scholarship is applied for and awarded while on active duty. Also, Division and Corps commanders have about 3-5 "Hip Pocket" Green to Gold scholarships to offer to eligible soldiers. The deadline for submitting your completed packet is 1 Apr. Go to www.armyrotc.com to download an application. Both have the following benefits:
  • Full Annual Tuition
  • $1200 per year for book allowance
  • $3,000-5,000 subsistence allowance from ROTC per school year ($300-500 per month to 10 months)
  • G.I. Bill and Army College Fund benefits.
  • Additionally, you will be eligible for $3000 on-campus room and board assistance from WMU
