Minimum Requirements
- 2.5 College GPA
- United States citizen
- At least 17 years old at start of college
- Under 27 years old at college graduation
- Pass a medical examination
- Pass the Army Physical Fitness Test
- No civil convictions or arrests
- Able and willing to serve in the Active Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard
- Have three years remaining to finish bachelor's degree
Selection Criteria
- College GPA (Scholar)
- Extracurricular, leadership and athletic activities (Athlete-Leader)
- Personal interview and APFT (Army Physical Fitness Test)
Financial Benefits
- Full Annual Tuition
- $1200 per year for books and supplies
- $350-500 per month subsistence allowance ($3,500-5,000 maximum for Soph, Jr, and Sr year)
- Additionally, you will be eligible for $3000 on-campus room and board assistance from WMU.
Commitments
- Agree to complete your degree and maintain a 2.0 overall GPA and a 2.0 GPA in military science
- Take one ROTC class per semester and HIST 3200 (American Military History)
- Attend physical training three times per week
- Attend field training leadership exercise one weekend per semester
- Contract with the U.S. government to complete your degree and accept a commission in the Active Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard
