Affiliated Schools do not have ROTC Programs on their campuses. Students who wish to participate in Army ROTC must do so through the Western Michigan University Host Program. We are able to offer Army ROTC scholarships to qualified students to attend our affiliated schools, however, you are not required to be on an Army ROTC scholarship to participate in the program.

During any given year, the Bronco Battalion has between two and five students cross enrolled in affiliated schools. This means that the students must register at WMU for the ROTC class and lab and travel to the WMU campus for training. The mechanics for doing this vary. If you are currently enrolled and attending one of our affiliated schools, you must apply to WMU as a guest student. High school seniors and all others who have not already attended another college or university must apply to WMU just as if they were going to be a full time student here.
