Officer Christian Fellowship (OCF)

Officer Christian Fellowship is a cadet led organization that offers students a chance to learn and grow in the word while relating faith and worship to the military.

Rifle Team

The Western Michigan Rifle Team primarily serves as the universities competitive marksmanship team, which travels in and out of the state in order to compete in National Rifle Association .22 caliber small bore rifle tournaments. They train year round in advanced marksmanship, safety and military techniques. Although this group is supported by the ROTC department, there is no obligation to ROTC and shooting experience is not needed to join. The team is a registered student organization open to all students.

Color Guard

The WMU ROTC Color Guard represents the Army and the university by raising our nation's colors and setting off "Boomer", the battalions 75mm Pack Howitzer, at various events in the community. Most often, the color guard plays an important role at Bronco football games. The Color Guard also appears at hockey games, Veteran's Day memorials and local parades.

Advanced Officer Developement (AOD)

AOD is a group created in the efforts to provide Bronco BN cadets the resources to succeed at LDAC.
The group deals with all issues and information that is expected of ROTC cadets. The group is informal and discussion based for the purpose of helping cadets in the most direct and efficient way possible.
The secondary mission of AOD is to help SMP cadets, Green to Gold cadets, recent basic and AIT graduates, and LTC cadets with the process of adjusting to the ROTC style.

Western Ranger Organization (WRO)

The WRO is a student run organization which is affiliated with Western Michigan University and the WMU Army ROTC Military Science Department, but is not a part of Army ROTC. The organization focuses on leadership through the knowledge of military tactics as well as camaraderie. "Western Rangers Lead The Way!"
