CPT CHAD M. McDANIEL

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MILITARY SCIENCE

 

Captain Chad M. McDaniel Captain McDaniel was born in Kalamazoo, MI and is a 1999 graduate of Western Michigan University. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and holds a Master of Arts degree in Management from Webster University. He was commissioned through Western Michigan University R.O.T.C. as an Air Defense Artillery Officer. CPT McDaniel hails from Galesburg, Michigan.

His previous assignments include: Launcher Platoon leader, C/2-43 ADA, Fire Control Platoon leader, C/2-43 ADA, Battery Executive officer, C/2-43 ADA, Brigade Fire Direction Center OIC, 108th ADA Brigade, Liaison officer to the 3rd Marine Air Wing, during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Assistant Operations Officer for 2-43 ADA Battalion, and Battery Commander for B/2-43 ADA, Fort Bliss, Texas.

His military education includes Airborne School, the Air Defense Artillery Officer Basic Course, Air and Missile Defense Captains Career Course (AMDC3) and the Combined Arms Service and Staff School (CAS3). Awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (2 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (1 OLC), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency, and the Parachutist Badge.
