The Bronco Battalion conducts activities in conjunction with
WMU's Fall Welcome. Cadets move into the residence halls early,
have a BBQ with current cadets, cadre and family, get issued
all kinds of cool Army equipment, rappel and a number of other
informative and fun activities.
All Army ROTC Cadets (Cadet is defined as anyone enrolled
in Military Science class MSL1010) get to move into the residence
halls on Monday morning, regardless of which residence hall
you are assigned, what other programs you may be involved
in or what your last name starts with. Current cadets will
be available to help you move in. Look for them and ask for
their assistance.
We will be mailing you an information packet towards the
end of July. This packet will have some forms for you to fill
out, including a sizing chart so we can have your uniforms
ready for you when you get here for Fall Welcome. If you have
a medical exam (physical) within the last year, be sure to
send us a copy. Otherwise you will be sent to get a medical
exam (at our expense) on Tuesday.
If you are in multiple programs here at WMU, we have conducted
coordination with those programs so that you will know where
you need to be during Fall Welcome.
Don't forget that you now have a WMU student email account.
Check it regularly during the summer. That is where WMU will
send all important information.

The Department of Military Science for Army Reserve Officer's Training Corps (ROTC) was established to select and prepare qualified students to serve as officers in the Regular Army, National Guard, or Army Reserve.
