Enrollment Verification Options
Online enrollment verification is available for students with active BroncoNetID. To get a copy of the enrollment certificate follow these steps:
- login
to GoWMU portal
- select Academic Services under the Student Services & Financial Aid tab
- click on the menu item Enrollment Verification Certificate

Certifications can be obtained through the Office of the Registrar in
person, with picture identification. 
Verifications for
the current semester will not be available until two (2) days after
the close of the the registration period.
The following information is intended for employers, credit card companies, scholarships, insurance companies, third parties and other agencies needing to verify student enrollment at WMU or verification of degree(s) earned.
Western Michigan University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide enrollment and degree verification after 1984.

Verifications are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year via the Clearinghouse web.
Verifications prior to January 1, 1984 can still be requested directly to WMU.
