Your student can see the impact of changing majors or minors using the "Progress to Degree" tool in GoWMU. This tool compares completed coursework with their declared program of study.
The report shows degree requirements that are met and those yet to be completed.
We recognize that parents provide a great deal of financial and emotional support to their children while they are students at WMU. However, we must balance this recognition with the fact that WMU students are legally adults and their legal rights must be fully respected, particularly with concern to their privacy rights under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Please visit the links to the left for information on privacy rights, academics and other helpful parent resources.
WMU has created a Parent & Family Office to facilitate communication with the families of our students and to provide a place where questions can be answered. By providing your email address to this office, you will receive regular newsletters with information on what's happening on campus, important dates and deadlines and other timely information. Visit the Parent and Family website for more information.
There is a lot more to see! Visit some of our friends at WMU to learn about academics, costs of attendance, and campus life.
