The Fall 2014 schedule opened for viewing this morning. Students can search the schedule offerings through GoWMU or on the public website at https://www.wmich.edu/classlookup/. Fall registration begins on Monday, March 10. The priority schedule can be found at: http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/calendars/timeticketFall.html.
As a reminder, all Summer I, Summer II and Fall textbook orders need to be submitted as soon as possible in order to keep WMU compliant with the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) of 2008. According to the Act, institutions of higher education must provide required and recommended textbook information with their published course offerings.
The deadline for instructors to submit midterm grades is Monday, March 10. Starting this semester midterm grades can now be submitted to Banner from D2L. Instructions are available on the Registrar’s Office website http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/faculty-staff/instructors/grading.html.
Last week the Registrar’s Office sent letters to students who applied for graduation between 2011 and 2013, but did not receive a degree due to outstanding graduation requirements. The letter went out to 584 students, encouraging them to return and complete their degree at WMU. A copy of the letter can be found at http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/em-dash/registrar-canceled-students-letter.pdf.
