Faculty or staff concerned about a student can report this using the Student Concern Form. Information recorded on the form is confidential and goes directly to the Dean of Students Office. They will review the concern and will follow up with the student. There is a link to the student concern form on the Faculty menu in GoWMU.
Progress continues on the implementation of Degree Works. We are one step closer to completing the first phase of the project, which is coding the degree requirements and validating the data against students in the program. I am happy to report that work has been completed for all programs in the College of Aviation. The remaining colleges are in various stages of testing and our target is to have all requirements coded and validated by March 1, 2013.
Degree Works displays numerous pieces of student information in one convenient location, eliminating the need to go to multiple Banner screens. Information such as the student’s major, classification, gpa and academic standing will all be provided on the main worksheet page. You will also be able to access the student’s entire class history in Degree Works and see if the student has submitted their application for graduation.
