Grading for the Summer II session has closed. Students who were not issued a grade by the instructor have been given an incomplete. Instructors can remove the "I" grade using the link on the Faculty menu in GoWMU.
Planning is underway for the December 15 commencement ceremony. Three ceremonies will be held in Miller auditorium. The schedule is as follows:
9:00 a.m.
College of Aviation
College of Education
College of Engineering and Applied Sciences
12:00 p.m.
Haworth College of Business
College of Health and Human Services
College of Fine Arts
3:00 p.m.
College of Arts and Sciences
Extended University Programs
December graduates planning to attend the ceremony can RSVP starting on Wednesday, September 26.
Instructors are encouraged to report students who are either not attending or who are attending but not appearing on the class list. This can be done directly through GoWMU using the “Report Students Not Attending/Not Registered” link located on the faculty menu. It is helpful to identify registration issues early on in the semester when they can be more easily resolved. Staff from the Registrar's Office, advising, and Residence Life staff will follow up with students reported as not attending.
As a reminder, all Spring 2013 textbook information must be submitted by Friday in order to keep WMU in compliance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act. Detailed instructions on the textbook requisition process can be found on the faculty/staff tab of the Registrar’s Office website: www.wmich.edu/registrar.
