Students who have been academically dismissed will be dropped from their Summer II courses on Wednesday, May 30.
Orientation for incoming freshmen begins next Monday, Thursday June 4. At this time, there are 2, 835 students registered for one of the 12 sessions scheduled. For more information, see the Orientation website: http://www.wmich.edu/fye/orientation/.
The implementation of Degree Works is officially underway. Degree Works will be replacing the Progress to Degree (CAPP) tool currently available to students to track their graduation progress. Degree Works is fully integrated with Banner and offers a comprehensive degree audit solution with features to help support academic advising.
Our goal is to roll Degree Works out to new, undergraduate students entering WMU in Fall 2013. To keep you informed as we move through the project I will be providing regular updates in the weekly notes. A project status link is also being created for the Registrar’s Office website and will include information about the implementation and timeline.
