Fall 2012 Working Reports

Fall 2012 working reports are now available in Cognos for departments to review. Instructions on how to generate your working report and semester information will be emailed this morning. Working reports do not have to be returned this round; all editing may be done in Banner through 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 23 .

Training will be made available the week of November 14 . To schedule an appointment, please email Laura Thomas ( laura.thomas@wmich.edu ).

Midterm Grading

Midterm grading was turned off for Fall 2011 this morning.  Grades were entered in 1,136 sections for 36,358 students. This is our best response since we started midterm grading in Fall 2007. Grades submitted can be viewed by students through GoWMU.

Spring 2012 Registration

We are in our third week of Spring registration. Today sophomores with 30 credits will be able to access the system to register. Freshmen with zero credits will have the opportunity to register on Thursday, November 3, based on the first letter of their last name (A-M at 8:00 a.m. and N-Z at noon).

Spring Graduation Deadline – December 1

A reminder that December 1 is the deadline for students to submit their graduation audit for April commencement. Undergraduate students should complete their graduation audit in the College Advising Office and then return it to the Office of the Registrar. Applications for graduate students can be found in the Registrar’s Office or online.

Upcoming dates:

• Monday, November 7—Last Day to Withdraw
• Wednesday, November 23—Thanksgiving Recess begins at noon
• Thursday, December 1—Deadline to apply for April graduation
• Saturday, December 17—Commencement
• Tuesday, December 20—Fall Grades Due at noon
