Course offerings for spring are available today, both on the public website, https://www.wmich.edu/classlookup and on the course offerings page within GoWMU.
Registration opens on Monday, Oct. 18. The priority registration schedule can be found at: http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/calendars/timeticketSpring.html
As a reminder, the undergraduate credit hour cap will be enforced when Spring registration opens. Undergraduate students will not be able to enroll in more than 24 hours without receiving permission from their college advisor.
Banner access for updating Summer I/Summer II 2012 course offerings is available until 5 p.m. October 7.
A new form is available for currently enrolled WMU students to use if they are planning to take a course at another institution. The form allows students to obtain pre-approval that the course will transfer back to WMU. Students must complete the form, attach a course description and take it their college advisor for approval. Once signed, the form is returned to the Registrar’s Office where it will be recorded and available when the transcript arrives from the guest institution. Students can locate the Transfer Course Credit Planning and Verification form on the Registrar’s Office website under “forms”.
The semi-annual reauthorization of all security access for Banner, ImageNow/WebNow, Cognos, Advisor Access and SSN access is just around the corner. The security packets will be mailed to the departments on Monday, October 10, 2011. There will be one packet for each department/office, it will be a large white envelope marked confidential. Please process the agreement letters as soon as possible.
If your department/office does not receive a packet by Thursday, October 13, please contact Kathy Rix ( kathy.rix@wmich.edu ). The deadline for return of all agreement letters will be Monday, October 24, 2011.
Midterm grading continues through October 30. Instructors are encouraged to submit a first work grade by the end of the day today.
