The summer II census is now available, see http://www.wmich.edu/ir/reports.php?type=enrollment&year=2010. Overall we are down 118 students, or 1.8% from summer II of 2009. Note that major/minor and primary program preference reports are also available here. This is the first time that we are using the new race/ethnicity categories which were mandated by the US Department of Education. As such, the reports look slightly different from the past and include two new categories: Two or More Races and Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander.
Federal mandating disclosure of required and recommended textbook information with course scheduling information went into effect on July 1, 2010. As such, please ensure that all sections on the schedule for fall 2010 do have this information. If no textbooks are required or recommended for the section, this can be indicated on the online textbook requisition website provided by the bookstore.
The deadline for students to apply for December commencement is August 2. Please remind students of this upcoming deadline.
It is expected that the Board of Trustees will set the 2010-11 tuition rates at this Friday’s meeting. We will post these new rates immediately following the meeting on http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/tuition.
