Grades for spring 2010 are due by noon on Tuesday, May 4. At noon, the grading system will be closed, we will process grades as quickly as possible. When this is completed, students will be able to see their spring grades through GoWMU and the grading system will be reopened. I expect that grades will be available for student viewing by late afternoon.
As always, a list of all missing grades goes to the Provost either Tuesday afternoon, or first thing on Wednesday.
Aside from student’s desire to see their grades for the semester, there can be financial aid implications and academic standing issues when grades are late. Please remind your instructors how important it is that they meet the deadline.
Classes begin on Monday, May 10 at 8:00. See below for more Summer I dates.
Working reports for round one will be available beginning May 11. Note that departments will no longer need to come to the Registrar’s Office to pick up the reports, they will be available in Cognos. See the Registrar’s website, faculty/staff tab, the page for schedule builders for the location of the report. Or go directly, http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/faculty-staff/builders/Instructions%20for%20Running%20Working%20Reports.pdf.
This office will still, however, require that a copy of the working report be returned to us.
There is a lot more to see! Visit some of our friends at WMU to learn about academics, costs of attendance, and campus life.
