April 26, 2010
The final exam schedule is available on the Registrar’s website, see: http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/finalexam201001.html.
Finals must be given in the normal classroom, unless other arrangements have been made with this office.
Grades are due Tuesday, May 4 at noon. As usual, we will close the grading system at noon to run the grading processing. When this is complete, students will be able to view their grades through GoWMU.
Please note that university policy requires grades to be submitted by noon on Tuesday.
A cognos report has been created to help manage waitlists. The report is in the ‘Schedule Building Reports-ODS’ folder, and is titled ‘DEPT:Wait List Status by Course’.
The report will provide a list, by department, of sections with a waitlist, the number of students on the waitlist, and available waitlist seats.
Our spring commencement ceremonies will take place this Saturday, May 1, at 9:00, 12:00, 3:00 and 6:00. The schedule is available on http://www.wmich.edu/commencement.
There are about 2700 students eligible to graduate this spring at this point, about 2000 of them plan to walk in Saturday’s ceremonies.
Best wishes for a smooth finals week and a good ending to spring 2010!
