At this time of year as we approach the end of the semester, final exams, deadlines for papers and other projects, students often feel additional pressure and tension. The busyness of the holidays can add to the stress. So this is just a reminder to be aware of the anxiety this season can bring to our students. If you see students struggling beyond what seems a 'normal' end of the semester level of stress, the student concern form is a way to report your concerns. This form can be found on: www.studentworld.wmich.edu/health.html. Staff in Student Affairs will follow up on all concerns reported.
The schedule for final exams can be found on the Registrar’s website, see: http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/finalexam200904. All final exams are scheduled according to this schedule, in the classroom where the course normally meets, unless arrangements have been made with this office for a different room.
If there are needs for classroom space for review sessions or any other meetings during finals, please contact this office to reserve a room. We appreciate your help in eliminating any potential room conflicts so that finals can be given smoothly.
Jeannie Hamilton, 387-4305, or jeannine.hamilton@wmich.edu is now officially the staff member in this office coordinating room scheduling, taking over the position formally held by Laurie Foster.
We are now through priority registration for spring, all students are eligible to register.
Do you have a UserID from Banner and you need to know who it is? Now you can look it up yourself, you don’t have to call the Registrar’s office. There is a report in Cognos where you can type in the Bronco NetID (UserID) and it will return the name of the person as well as the department to which he/she is assigned.
Path to the report:
Public Folders>Advisor-Security Assignments>DEPT:Name Look Up From Bronco NetID:009. Type the Bronco NetID in the prompt (in ALL CAPS) and hit enter.
Please note: You must type the Bronco NetID in ALL CAPS.
