Enrollment Verification and loan deferment paperwork

A reminder that all enrollment verifications and requests for completion of loan deferment to be official, the paperwork needs to be processed by the Registrar’s Office. So, if students bring these types of requests to your offices, please refer them to us.


Two ceremonies are scheduled for Saturday, June 27, at 9:00 and 12:00. Approximately 1,500 students are eligible for degrees this June. This includes 26 doctoral degrees to be granted on Saturday. See the commencement website for complete information, http://www.wmich.edu/commencement.

Other items

  • Grades for Summer I are due by noon on Tuesday, June 30.
  • Summer II courses start at 8:00 am on Thursday, June 25
  • WMU is participating in the No Worker Left Behind Program, a state program to support education and retraining in certain high demand areas. See the website for more information, http://www.wmich.edu/noworker.

Student concern form

A reminder, there is an online form available for faculty, staff and students to share their concerns about a student whose behavior is troubling. Information recorded on the form, which is confidential, goes to the office of the associate dean of students, who reviews the concerns and determines the next steps to take. The link is studentworld.wmich.edu/health.html. Click on the link to 'Student Concern Form' on the upper right of this page. You will be asked to enter your Bronco NetID and password. This is the ID and password used to access GoWMU.

  • Wednesday, June 24 – last day of classes for Summer I
  • Thursday, June 25 – summer II classes begin at 8:00 am
  • Saturday, June 27 – commencement
  • Tuesday, June 30 – grades due at noon
  • Wednesday, July 1 – last day of drop/adds for Summer II
  • Thursday, July 2 – last day departments have access to adjust student schedules
  • Thursday, July 2 – census for Summer II
  • Friday, July 3 – July 4th recess, no classes
  • Tuesday, July 7 - last day for 50% refund for complete withdrawal
  • Monday, July 20 – last day for 25 % refund for complete withdrawal
  • Monday, July 20 – last day to withdraw for Summer II classes
  • Friday, August 14 – last day of classes for Summer II
  • Tuesday, August 18 – grades due at noon
