Spring 2010 schedules

Schedules are due by 5:00 pm today. Please contact Michele McLaughlin, 7-3869, with any questions related to spring scheduling.

Security Access Request Forms Moved Behind Portal

Per the directions of the Campus Security Committee, the access request forms for all student systems have been placed behind the portal. The links on the Registrar’s home page will be removed on Wednesday, June 10. Therefore, effective immediately, please log in to GoWMU to for all security access information.

The links are found on the Faculty/Staff tab in the My Work channel. Contact Kathy Rix, 7-4969 with any questions regarding security.

Code Changes on SIAINST

We are in the process of adjusting the codes found in the “Category” field on the SIAINST screen in Banner. This process will be complete within the next week or two. Below is a cross walk table showing how the current codes will be changed.

Effective immediately, please use the appropriate code found in the Code2 column when updating staff/faculty information.

Additionally, the data in the “Staff Type” field is being removed. This field will now be null. Please do not enter any information into this field.

In the near future, the data in the “Workload Rule” field also may be removed. You will be notified if that happens.

For now, the priority is to use the new codes. If you do not, you will see the description “Not Used”. If you see that description, you have used an obsolete code.
