Grading

Grades for spring 2010 are due at noon on Tuesday, April 28.We will shut down the grading system at noon, and it will remain closed until all grade processing has been completed, probably late afternoon or early evening. Instructors will be unable to submit grades during this time. When the system reopens, students will be able to view their grades.

FERPA reminders:

Grades cannot be posted by all or any part of the SSN or the WIN.

Graded work cannot be left in a public place for students to pick up.

Grades or other academic, non-directory information cannot be given over the phone.

Calendar dates

Please note changes in upcoming semester and session calendars, beginning with Spring 2010.The new academic calendars can be found on http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/calendar.html.

Click on 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 for the new calendars; changes are in gold.

Classes for Spring 2010 will begin on Monday, January 11th, at 8:00 am, a week later than previously scheduled.

Upcoming Dates

• Monday-Friday, April 20-24 – Final exam week
• Saturday April 25 – Commencement
• Tuesday, April 28 – Grades due at noon
• Monday, May 4 – Summer I classes begin at 8:00 am
• Friday, May 8 – last day of drop/adds for Summer I
• Monday, May 11 – last day departments have access to adjust student schedules
• Monday, May 11 – Summer I census
• Tuesday, May 12 – Late add fee begins – for students adding a course(s) who have no courses on their schedule; fee is $100 per added course
• Friday, May 15 - Last day to receive 50% tuition refund for a complete withdrawal
• Monday, May 25 – Memorial Day recess – no classes
• Friday, May 29 - Last day to receive 25% tuition refund for a complete withdrawal
• Monday, June 1 – Last day students can withdraw from Summer I courses
• Wednesday, June 24 – last day of classes for Summer I
• Saturday, June 27 – Commencement
• Tuesday, June 30 – Grades due at noon
