Withdrawal information

The last day students can withdraw from Spring classes, is next Monday, March 16. Students can withdraw from any WMU course using GoWMU through 11:59 pm on the 16th.

After the 16th, students can withdraw from a WMU class only with signed permission of the instructor. The requirements for a withdrawal from the tenth week of the semester through the end of the semester are:

• genuine hardship (i.e., illness, death in the immediate family)
• Must be passing the course
• Must provide supporting documentation

Fall registration

Registration for fall classes will open on Monday, March 16th. The priority registration schedule can be found on http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/timeticketFall.html.

Midterm grading

Midterm grading has ended for this spring. Note that students can still view their midterm grades through GoWMU.

Upcoming Dates

• Monday, March 9 – classes resume
• Monday, March 16 – last day students can withdraw from Spring classes
• Monday, March 16 – Fall registration opens
• Monday-Friday, April 20-24 – Final exam week
• Saturday April 25 – Commencement
• Tuesday, April 28 – Grades due at noon
