Fall 2009

The fall 2009 schedule opens for viewing today Students can view the schedule offerings through GoWMU, or on the public website, https://wwwwmichedu/classlookup

This is a good time to remind students to clear any holds they may have prior to the start of fall registration The priority schedule for fall registration can be found on: http://wwwwmichedu/registrar/timeticketFallhtml

Contact information and race/ethnicity survey

Students who view courses offerings or register for courses through GoWMU, will be prompted to update or validate their permanent address as well as their emergency contact information This began yesterday, March 1, and is the same process used in the past year

This year there is a second part to this, which involves the ethnicity survey As part of changes in the way student ethnicity is reported as required by the DOE, we need to survey current students

You can view the address validation and the ethnicity screens that students will see in GoWMU, on the bannertraining website, http://wwwwmichedu/bannertraining.  Log in with your Bronco NetID and password, then click on ‘Learning SIS menu’ on the left, the first item on this page will be the ‘ethnicity and race survey’

Summer registration

Registration for Summer I and II session continues We are through the priority schedule, so all students are now eligible to register for summer

Midterm grading

Midterm grading continues through next Sunday, March 8th Currently over 10,000 midterm grades have been submitted in 339 sections

Upcoming dates

• Monday, March 2 – Fall schedule open for viewing
• Monday, March 9 – classes resume
• Monday, March 16 – last day students can withdraw from Spring classes
• Monday, March 16 – Fall registration opens
• Monday-Friday, April 20-24 – Final exam week
• Saturday April 25 – Commencement
• Tuesday, April 28 – Grades due at noon
