Summer I/II

Schedules for summer I and II are available for viewing beginning today. Registration for summer courses will open on February 16.

For students graduating in June or August

The deadline for graduation audits, for Summer I or II, has been extended through this Friday, Feb. 6. All students planning to graduate this summer should have their audits turned in to the Registrar’s Office by the end of the day Friday.

Supplemental instruction

A reminder that supplemental instruction is available for select courses this spring semester.  See http://www.wmich.edu/asc/schedules/sischedule.html  for the schedule.

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a nationally recognized program to provide assistance in some of the more difficult classes on campus. SI Leaders who have successfully completed the class in a previous semester will sit with you through the class, then hold review sessions, providing a guided study atmosphere. All sessions are free and do not require advance registration.

Open Learning update

There are now seven open learning sections available this spring semester. These are the online courses which students have 6 months to complete. Registration in these courses continues through the last day of this semester. Please note that these courses are offered through Online Education, and thus are not part of the flat rate tuition structure. Undergraduates will be charged $297.46 per credit hour plus a $20 per course technology fee.

• Monday, February 16 – Midterm grading opens; remains open thru March 8
• Monday, February 16 – Summer registration opens
• Friday, February 27 – Spirit day – no classes
• Monday, March 2 – Spring break begins
• Tuesday, March 3 – Fall schedule open for viewing
• Monday, March 9 – classes resume
• Monday, March 16 – last day students can withdraw from Spring classes
• Monday, March 16 – Fall registration opens
• Monday-Friday, April 20-24 – Final exam week
• Saturday April 25 – Commencement
• Tuesday, April 28 – Grades due at noon
