This week we continue the priority schedule of registration with seniors and juniors. The priority registration period ends on Nov. 14th, at that time all admitted, eligible students will be able to register for Spring courses. The full priority schedule can be found on: www.wmich.edu/registrar/timeticketSpring.html
This December, in the interest of going more ‘green’, the bookstore will be renting gowns to students instead of selling them. Students will return the gowns after the ceremony, they will be cleaned by the gown co. and reused for future ceremonies. More information on commencement can be found on: www.wmich.edu/commencement.
True or False ?
It is permissible to take attendance in class by passing around a class list with student names and asking students to indicate their attendance by initialing their names.
Midterm grading has now ended for this fall semester. A total of 9,703 midterm grades were posted in 301 sections. This compares to 23,880 midterm grades given in 663 sections last fall.
Students can withdraw from fall classes through GoWMU, through 11:59 pm on Monday, November 3rd. A grade of ‘W’ will be recorded on their transcript for such a withdrawal.
After Nov. 3rd, students wishing to withdraw from a fall course will need the signed approval of their instructor on the late withdrawal form. The form requires that a student be passing the course and that some exceptional circumstances have caused the need to withdraw.
True. As long as only the student's name appears on the distributed list. The list cannot include SSN, WIN, or any other non-directory information; if the list only includes student names, this is fine.
