Summer II

The last day of the Summer II session is Friday, August 15th. Note that grades for Summer II are due at noon on Tuesday, August 19th. As always, all grades must be submitted online.

Looking toward fall …

• If you are hiring part-time instructors, the FAQ’s for part-time may help, see: www.wmich.edu/registrar/pdf/FAQ-instructors.pdf .

• In preparation for the start of classes, begin checking to ensure that all sections have the correct instructor of record, so that those instructors will have access to class lists.

• Cancel any sections still on hold, that you know will not run this fall.

• Double check all room assignments.

Late adds

Plan to get all students enrolled in seminars, internships, practicums, independent studies, etc., as appropriate, prior to census. This will help to ensure that we include all students and credit hours, in our census counts on Sept. 9th.

Upcoming dates:

• August 15 -  Summer II session ends
• August 19 - Summer II grades due at noon
• August 25 -  One-Stop opens in the Bernhard Center
• August 25 -29  - Fall Welcome Week
• September 2 - Fall 2008 classes begin at 8:00 am
• September 8 - Last day of drop/adds
• September 9 - Last day academic departments have access to Banner to make adjustments to student schedules
• September 9 – Census
• September 10 – Late add fee begins
